During my life, the most contact I had with my relatives was with the Adams Family. My fathers sister, Norah Kathryn (Auntie Kay to me) Married Bud Adams and had 2 Children, Pat and Mary. After WW2 we shared holidays every year. Thanksgiving at the Adams with the wonderful turkey dinner prepared by Bud and his famous stuffed celery. Easter was at our house for ham and the trimmings. We continued this tradition long after our parents were no longer up to it. In addition we met once a summer at my folks summer home in Michigan. Our Shankland grandparents joined us every year until their deaths.
